Alina-Mona Pase 
Lawyer-Investigator & Mediator

Alina-Mona is a Director of Professional Services at Latitude. In this role, she oversees the firm’s harassment, violence and discrimination investigation files. Her objective is to ensure legal and procedural compliance by providing ongoing support to investigators and reviewing investigation reports. She also conducts investigations in complex or sensitive cases, and trains investigators from the public and private sectors on best practices and legal obligations related to harassment, violence and discrimination. Finally, she contributes to the development of policies, procedures and work tools on the subject.

Prior to joining Latitude, she served as a lawyer in the labor and employment law team of Canada’s only unionized bank at the time. She also held the positions of Senior Manager Labour Relations and Counsel in the Labour and Employment Law Department of a major federal Crown corporation. In this capacity, she acted as liaison between the employer and various external investigators, ensuring that mandates for investigations into harassment, violence and discrimination were handled quickly, appropriately and efficiently.

Alina-Mona holds an undergraduate degree (with distinction) with a specialty in French studies and a thesis in Cameroonian literature as well as an undergraduate degree in education. Prior to law school, she taught French in a Montreal high school for nearly 10 years.
