Courtney Wile
Investigator
Courtney is an Senior Advisor and Investigator at Latitude. She acts exclusively as a neutral, impartial third party in a variety of mandates relating to the prevention and management of workplace conflicts, with investigations focussing on discrimination, psychological harassment, and violence (including sexual violence).
Before joining Latitude, Courtney worked in private practice in Toronto for several years, in a firm that specialized in family law. She then worked at a higher education institution in Montreal as a Harassment and Discrimination Officer.
Courtney holds both a Bachelor of Civil Law and Bachelor of Common Law from McGill University. She is a member in good standing of the Law Society of Ontario (2013). She also holds both a Bachelor of Music (Trombone Performance) and Master of Music (Orchestral Trombone) and performed professionally for a few years before pivoting into law.
Thanks to her multidisciplinary experience, as well as her professional yet compassionate approach, Courtney is able to connect with people, even during difficult moments in their lives.
