Sophie Roy-Lafleur 
Director and Certified Coach (ACC)

Sophie is a Director and Associate Certified Coach (ACC – ICF) at Latitude. She coaches executives, managers, and professionals, primarily within organizational settings. Her grounded and authentic presence fosters trust and creates the conditions for meaningful reflection, learning, and growth. Frequently engaged in situations involving workplace conflict, harassment prevention and management, or strained team dynamics, she works collaboratively with relevant stakeholders to carefully understand needs and ensure clear alignment on coaching objectives.

Drawing on over 15 years of experience in advisory roles — including more than a decade in labour and employment law, human resources, and professional development — she brings a nuanced understanding of employers’ legal obligations and workplace dynamics. Her coaching is structured and goal-focused, grounded in psychological safety, and attentive to emotional regulation and stress management to support the effective exercise of leadership in demanding environments.

Sophie has coached leaders and professionals across multiple sectors, as well as hundreds of law students and early-career lawyers, on issues related to leadership development, confidence, communication, and professional growth. Fully bilingual in English and French, she holds degrees in civil law and common law from McGill University and completed the Professional Goal-Centric Coach (PGCC) certification at Concordia University’s John Molson Executive Centre. She is an Associate Certified Coach (ICF), an accredited mediator, and a member of both the Barreau du Québec and the Law Society of Ontario.
